First Movie So Far!

Let's see... I saw a movie yesterday... What was it called... Um... Oh! The Wedding Planner. It had Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey. Major chick flick, but overall not too bad.

What happens is, this girl (J.Lo) is a wedding planner, and she is best at what she does because, well, she's got OCD. Everything has to be perfect, so she is planned for anything and everything that gets out of hand. Everything from dads reminiscing about how their daughters used to play princess until they met those boys, to getting her fellow wedding planner friend to quit flirting with the best man. Basically, she's ready for everything... except falling in love. Her philosophy is that those that can't do, teach, and those that can't wed, plan. That's where Matthew comes in.

He plays this guy who saved her life, so, after waking up in his office (she passed out), she falls for him. But... with this latest wedding she's working on, she hasn't met the groom yet, only the bride. So when the bride needs her, and the groom just happens to be in the room, she finds out that the groom is the same guy who saved her, the same guy who was about to kiss her the night before. Ouch.

Anyway, like I said, major chick flick about a double love triangle (I hate those things... sure they're entertaining sometimes, but to be in one's gotta suck), but overall an ok story.

If you're interested in finding out how it ends... You're just gonna havta watch it lol 'cause I'm not gonna spoil the rest of it.

Until tomorrow!

P.S. Please remember the post from when I first started, where I said that I watch a big variety of movies, so don't worry, there's gonna be some less girly stuff on here in the near future lol.

How 'bout some music to start?

I'm pretty sure I already told you how much I love music... and since it was my primary inspiration for starting this blog, what the heck? I'll post a song first.

Now just so you know, unless I specifically state otherwise, NONE OF THE MUSIC, BOOKS, MOVIES, OR ANYTHING ELSE ON HERE BELONGS TO ME. I just find some of it interesting enough to write down so I don't forget it.

"Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas.

Let it go,
Let it roll right off your shoulder,
Don't you know?
The hardest part is over.
Let it in,
Let your clarity define you.
In the end,
We will only just remember how it feels.

Our lives are made
In these small hours,
These little wonders,
These twists and turns of fate.
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours,
Still remain.

Let it slide,
Let your troubles fall behind you.
Let it shine,
Until you feel it all around you.
And I don't mind,
If it's me you need to turn to,
We'll get by.
It's the heart that really matters in the end.

Our lives are made
In these small hours,
These little wonders,
These twists and turns of fate.
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours,
Still remain.

All of my regret
Will wash away some how,
But I can not forget
The way I feel right now.

In these small hours,
These little wonders,
These twists and turns of fate,
These twists and turns of fate.
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours,
Still remain.
Oh they still remain.
These little wonders,
Oh these twists and turns of fate,
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These little wonders,
Still remain.

Now, just to make things painfully clear, I'll say it again; NONE OF THE MUSIC, BOOKS, MOVIES, OR ANYTHING ELSE ON HERE BELONGS TO ME. If you wanna listen to this song, don't look up Kj on Napster or whatever, look up Rob Thomas. Say it with me, Rob Thomas. I can't stress this enough, unless I specifically state otherwise, I don't own anything on here except my own thoughts and/or commentary. Basically, I don't wanna be wrongfully accused of plagiarism, which I'm NOT doing. I can't stand plagiarism. I hate it when people take my stuff and say it's theirs, which is why I don't do it. That would be not only hypocritical, but also illegal, so please don't say that I plagiarize stuff, because I don't.

Now that that's over... What'd you think of the song? Lol post how many stars you'd give it in comments please! Same as everywhere else, one star means you thought it was pretty lame and five stars means it was awesome.

Later!

Hey!

Hey Guys,

Remember me? Lol if not, I don't blame ya, my other blog isn't exactly the most popular thing on the web... But no worries! I'm not here for popularity, just here to be myself w/ out being judged, ya know? Anyways... My other blog I share with my bff (and now her bf) is all about randomness. No real theme goin' on there... Which was really throwing me off! I mean, I don't get inspired often enough with the random crap going on around me to really write about randomness. Occasionally during a conversation we'd say something totally out there and then it'd suddenly hit me to blog it! But... not usually.

This morning though, I was listening to some music and it hit me, what if I were to blog about music? Songs I like and stuff? I love music. It has so much power, power to make people think, power to make people feel, and if you can't hear the lyrics due to the bass being too loud, power to give people headaches lol. But yeah, pair good lyrics with a beautiful (or totally rockin') melody and I'm happy.

Just a quick heads up though, I listen to a lot of Christian music, so I'll probably end up writing about that... But to those of you who don't care for Christian music, I also like 80s, some Japanese pop, a lot of the stuff they play on DDR, a bunch of random stuff they play on the radio, etc. Basically it's gonna be pretty varied, but Christian will be in there, so don't hate me for that, kay?

After I decided music would be a pretty cool thing to write about... I thought about what else I like... I like books, movies, some TV shows, writing, drawing/sketching, and other art-related stuff, so I figured I'd expand on my original music idea and add the other stuff I like.

Another heads up, I like all kinds of books... everything from The Hunt for Red October to Alex Rider, from Julie of the Wolves to The Chronicles of Narnia, and most of everything in-between. So um... If I start writing about some random chick book and you're a dude who doesn't really wanna hear about magic pants or whatever, then don't worry, something more action-y will come up lol.

Also my taste in movies is really varied too. Just like books, I'll watch everything from a chick-flick to a horror movie, from a action-adventure to stuff based on a true story, so again, if you don't care to hear me talk all about how this girl met this guy and they lived happily ever after, don't worry lol there will be other stuff comin' up.

As for TV shows... NCIS is about all I watch anymore... I kinda miss the good old days of Scooby-Doo and Angry Beavers though, so I may decide to rant on today's lack of good childrens TV. I mean, seriously, they totally replaced the classics like Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry with a lot of lameness.

And... Occasionally I may post drawings or writings or photos I play with (photo manipulation is pretty fun lol), but a few things I won't be posting are...

-Celebrity gossip, because seriously, they make the same mistakes as your average Joe, but Joe isn't famous, so he doesn't matter to the public eye. To be honest, when it comes to celebs, I only care about how well they do their job. Singers need to be able to sing, actors need to be able to act, and authors need to be able to write. Other than that, it doesn't really matter who's dating who or who got caught drinking and driving or who's got the sexiest beach body. None of that really matters. (Ok, for those of you who take things really literally, yes it is important to not drink and drive, and it does matter who is dating who, but I'm saying their lives don't really matter any more than anyone else's, even though theirs are glorified.)

-Stuff about my life, because you guys don't need me telling you all about what's going on. I'm here to talk about music, books, movies, and some other art forms; not about any relationship issues, problems, or dorky habits that I may or may not have.

-And uber random crap. If you want random, go to my other blog. It's called Kj and Longocongo's Blog of Anti-Boredom. We've got a bunch of random stuff over there, everything from Chuck Norris jokes to wondering about what would happen to a pie if you were to stick it in a waffle iron. There may the occasional random thing in here, but it will, in some way, fit into the title of Music, Books, n' Movies (oh my!). If it doesn't fit, it's not going here, it's going there.

Anyways, that's probably about all you really need to know about what's new lol long story short, my inspiration left me, music found me, and it's all good again. Also, since I listen to a lot of music, watch a lot of movies, read a lot of books, draw fairly often, write even more often, and am pretty good at keeping up with NCIS, you can expect a faster update rate on here than on the other blog. More sources of inspiration = more posting.

Until tomorrow,

-Kj
