"So Long Self"

Hey guys!

I got another song for you. Again, I'm sorry for the lack of variety, but at least I got something for you instead of being absent for a month... again... XD

Music doesn't belong to me. Tis the sole property of the musician. Not me.

"So Long Self" by MercyMe

Again, the music isn't mine. It belongs to MercyMe. Nor is the music video mine, that belongs to MercyMe and whoever produced it. But you still gotta check it out lol.

Oh, and I'm almost done with my book, gimme maybe two more days (or one completely devoted to reading) and I'll have something new for you, and I'm thinking I'm gonna watch movie number two in the Librarian series. I already saw number one (where he first got the job and had to find a really important spear) and three (where he fell in love with a vampiress), but not number two. They're pretty good movies, way better than the other stuff I've been watching this summer. Think... Modern day Indiana Jones, except you multiply the booksmartness by several times and subtract the whip and hat. I'll give a better description when I see number two.

"Unwritten" and "Pocketful of Sunshine"

Ok, how many of you guys are like me and can hardly wait for school to officially start (or if it has, you're lovin' it)? That smell of new books, new pencils and paper, a fresh binder filled with all the things you need? Maybe some new gizmos for a tech class? Gosh, I love it. The anticipation is insane! I've got everything I need and I can hardly wait for it to start for real, but I gotta relax... slow down. Yeah, you can probably call me a geek... I won't mind lol but there's just something about new materials, new books, a new school year... I love it. I know, I know, gimme a few months and I'll probably be over it, but for now... just for now, it's good.

I've always loved new books, pencils, pens, and paper anyway... Comes from aspiring to be a writer, I think.

And... I still haven't finished this book (cut me some slack, it's almost 500 pages long!), nor have I seen any good movies (seriously slacking off in that department... I'll see about checking out what we've got at the video store sometime soon.) So once again, some music.

The music belongs to Natasha Bedingfield. Hint: I am not Natasha Bedingfield. Therefore, it does not belong to me. Gotta love logic...

Edit: It has come to my attention that neither of these songs can be found at the designated links any longer. As a result, I'll try to find new links, but if I can't, this post may be deleted.

"Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield

And another one, just 'cause I'm feeling good and like a double post might be nice today lol
Now personally, I have no idea how butterflies can replace tears... but I suppose they make people happy, so maybe it works... Anywho, once again, both songs belong to Natasha Bedingfield, not myself.

Just felt like posting them both because they're feel-good songs, and, well, I'm feelin' good!

Once again, comment if you like or dislike stuff, wanna suggest something, or just feel like saying hi!

Til Tomorrow!!

"More Beautiful You"

Hey, still no new movies, and I'm sorry about that...

But this is another one for you girls out there, but maybe some of you guys, ones with sisters, wives, or daughters, can enjoy it too.

The music is not mine. The lyrics aren't mine. The voice is not mine. Which means... The whole thing belongs to Jonny Diaz!

Again, this is Johnny Diaz's work, not mine.

If you get the chance, by the way, watch the music video to this one.

Later!

"Starting Over"

No movies... I'm in the middle of a really awesome book, but I can't post it yet... More music? Hmm... I could add more music...

Hope you guys don't mind the slight repetitiveness of my recent schedule... but the fact of the matter is, none of the movies I've seen lately are really worth telling you guys about, and I read so many books this summer they're all kinda a blur. So music is my stand-by.

The likelihood of this music belonging to me is roughly the same amount as the likelihood of someone getting me to listen to the Jonas Brothers... It ain't gonna happen.

"Starting Over" by Audio Adrenaline

Look at your face,
Doesn't shine the way it used to.
Look at your eyes,
They don't sparkle anymore.
Look what you've done,
You ruined it for everyone.
Who told you that you had to lose your innocence?

I,
I'm starting over,
I,
I'm starting over.

Tell me how
I get back to my childhood.
I used to think
It was so naive,
I was so naive...
Look what I've done,
I ruined it for everyone,
I should've held on harder to my innocence.

I,
I'm starting over,
I,
I'm starting over.

It's never too late,
It's never too late,
For starting over.

Reclaim your innocence,
Start over.
Reclaim your innocence,
Reclaim your innocence,
Start over,
Start over.

I,
I'm starting over,
I,
I'm starting over.

It's never too late,
It's never too late,
For starting over.

Look at your face,
Doesn't shine the way it used to.

As always, this song doesn't belong to me.

I don't know about you guys, but this song really makes me think about what my original inspiration was when I started writing this blog.

Was it fans? Was it to share my favorite stuff with my friends? Was it just a way to blow time? Was it an excuse to write out and discover a lot of music, books, and movies? Was it an attempt to teach myself to quit procrastinating? Maybe it was all of the above?

I gotta go, but I'll be thinking on that overnight.

Til tomorrow!

"The Best Thing"

I... Am bored outta my mind. So I decided to listen to as much music on my list as possible and post a new song. Still doesn't belong to me.

"The Best Thing" by Relient K

The song doesn't belong to me. I'm more likely to own Nemo's Nautilus than this.

I dunno... I like it. It's been described as the anti "Bad Day" song, which, I must say, is prettty accurate. Maybe I'll post "Bad Day" tomorrow so you can see for yourself lol.

Anyways, as per usual, if you like it, comment! If you don't like it, comment gently! If you have a suggestion, comment! If you have a question, comment! If you just wanna say hi, hey, I won't bite! Comment! Please? Lol I have no idea what to do differently unless you guys comment. See how important that is? Your words are what brings me forward, into the future. So tell me what you like, don't like, how you feel, your favorite song, band, book, author, movie, videogame, whatever.

Til Tomorrow!

"Kryptonite"

Hey guys! I'm happy to say that I kept my promise!! Tonight's song is called "Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down. I'd have posted it earlier, but right when I was done listening to it, another song popped up so I posted the new one instead. Which is slightly frustrating, you have no idea how confusing my filing system for music is. *Sigh* I can never tell if I wrote down the same song twice or what, but it's annoying.

Anywho, here it is! Oh, and just in case anybody has forgotten my usual note in my absence... The song doesn't belong to me. Never has, never will. Oh, and unlike most of the others, this isn't the official music video made by the company... It's a fan vid, but they did a really good job. Since it isn't official, lemme know if it ever gets deleted, I'll find another one.

Again, the song doesn't belong to me. It just gets stuck in my head like crazy lol.
Quick question for all you comic book fans out there... how come when Clark can't take the time to change in a phone booth, nobody notices him ripping his shirt off and having a giant red "S" on his chest? Hmm...? Same for Spiderman, I know you all saw that scene. What's with the shirt ripping? I know they gotta change into their secret identities and stuff, but both Superman and Spiderman work in newspaper offices, they should know a bit more about paparazzi and that sort of thing. Just sayin'.

And no, your answer can't be that the whole city is focused on something else. Sure, we don't always pay attention to stuff, but at least one person in the crowd must notice that Peter Parker is pulling his clothes off for a Spidey costume underneath. Or that Clark Kent looks remarkably like Superman, minus the glasses.

Tell me truly, is it the whole hiding in plain sight thing? Or do telephone booths just have too many windows nowadays?

Hey

Guys,

I just wanna apologize. Country Month was uber suckish due to my slow computer. To make up for it, I'll be posting country music throughout the year as well as the usual mix of semi-random stuff. Anyways, I have good news though, my computer has officially been tuned up, got some brand new memory, and is good as new! So now you can yell at me all you want if I don't post lol. ...Did I mention that I'm a born procrastinator...? Workin' on it though.

Anywho! We'll be starting back up with the regular schedule pretty soon, I've got a whole huge list of music to post, and I even read a bunch of awesome books this summer. Some historical fiction, some girly books, The Phantom of the Opera (Yes! I finished that one!!!), and several others. Movies though... Ugh. The usual awesome summer blockbusters haven't come out on DVD yet, so I've seen enough lame ones to last me a long time. And don't even get me started on reruns!

Well, I just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive, my computer is running better than ever, and I hope to get back on schedule asap. Thanks for sticking with me, those comments once in awhile mean a lot.

Talk to you soon! (And I mean it this time!!)
