Part 1 of triple M

Hey guys! Remember triple M?

*Shugs* I don't blame ya if you don't, I'm kinda off schedule about it. Stands for Marvel Movie Mania, which I went through a couple weeks ago. I saw DareDevil, Elektra, and X-Men 1-3. Also I was gonna add in X-Men Origins: Wolverine towards the end. As is, I'm gonna clump them into two categories; that which is X-Men, and that which is not X-Men.

Which brings me to DareDevil and Elektra.

DareDevil is a story about this kid named Matt Murdock who's living a sorta normal life; things aren't what you'd call good, but it could be worse in his not-so-good neighboorhood of Hell's Kitchen. Unfortunately life does get worse. One day he gets his report card and goes running over to the construction site where his dad works, only to find that he got fired awhile back. So he starts going again, presumably to return home, when he finds his dad is engaged in some... less than legal activities.

He drops his report card in shock and runs back to the construction site, his dad calling him the entire time. While running through the construction site, a barrel of biochemicals (or toxic waste, I can never keep those two straight. Either way, it's not good for you.) got poked and it went straight into his eyes.

Next scene we see him in the hospital where he's waking up from a coma and freaking out. Which is understandable, I mean, you'd probably be freaking too if earlier that day you could see and now you can't see anything but you can hear EVERYTHING. He forgives his dad and they both start learning how to better themselves.

More bad things happen... And probably because of them, Matt grew up from having a crappy childhood to being a lawyer for the innocent people of Hell's Kitchen by day and DareDevil, pursuer of justice, by night.

I'll leave you there... I don't think I gave too much away, I only told you guys the intro, after all, but still. Some people don't like being given even that much.

Oh, by the way, he meets this girl named Elektra Natchios, daughter of one of the wealthiest men around. She's got a secret life of her own...

Which brings us to Elektra.

*****SPOILER WARNING FOR THE END OF DAREDEVIL*****

Elektra is sort of a sequel DareDevil, telling about what happens after Elektra dies, but DareDevil himself isn't in this movie.

Elektra is resurrected by a man named Stick and she is trained in a special form of martial arts. Later on she gets kicked out and becomes an assassin. And a pretty good one in fact. The movie starts with her killing someone and making a sizable ransom for it. Her next job is on an island.

She moves into a house on the island and starts setting her things up. Right about here is when I figured she's probably OCD due to her impeccable neatness and the fact that there is absolutely nothing out of place. ...Not even her vegetables.

One day she hears that someone is in her house, and just as they're about to run out the front door she throws a knife, pinning the person's sleeve to the door. The girl who got caught is Abby, who is then requested to give back that which she stole. With no real way to explain why she was there, she gives Elektra her mother's necklace back.

A couple days later, Abby invites Elektra to her father's house for Christmas dinner. She goes, and shortly afterwards (a couple days, max), she gets the information on the people she's supposed to get rid of... Abby and her father. She'll be paid double for this job (due to two victims), so she grabs a bow and arrow and heads to the perfect place to make the shot.

So... Does she kill Abby and her father? The only people who were truly friendly to her after moving in? ...Minus the attempted theft, that is. Or does she decide she doesn't need this money and move on? I know this isn't the best cliffhanger I could've come up with for this movie, but I really need to not tell you too much.

Comments? Questions? Suggestions? Random thoughts? Tis what the comment box is for!! =)

Please, someone tell me if I'm giving too much away! I don't want to say much more than a synopsis of the first few minutes, so please tell me if I'm doing that or writing a novel based on a movie based on a comic book here.

Thanks!!

Til tomorrow,

-Kj
