Country Music Month is here! I would've posted yesterday, but family stuff kept me, so alas, you shall have to make due with only today. Anyways, I would ordinarily write about a movie (recently saw Bride Wars, Star Wars I-III, and a few others), but since it's finally August, the month we've all been waiting for (or at least you who enjoy country music lol), I'll humor you and give you the music I promised.
Here goes nothin! Oh, and as per usual, the music and the video don't belong to me. I don't usually play country music, I don't usually sing it, up until recently, I generally did my best to avoid it... But what with a recent huge project going on and it being my family's only music of choice (I'm not kidding. It's either country or classical, and as much as I love classical, it just doesn't have lyrics), I've been exposed to a lot of it, so I'll let my blog reflect what I've been through this past month or so lol.
This is one of my favorite Kenny Chesney songs. It just kinda reminds me that even if you have a fight with someone you love, are you really willing to give up your entire past because of it? Or are you gonna kiss and make up? Basically a sweet song that reminds of that oh so nice second option.
The way I see it, if you gotta listen to country, Kenny Chesney is pretty much the way to go. He's got a great voice. But... As always, I'm up for variety, so you can probably expect some Garth Brookes, Brad Paisley, and Carrie Underwood. I'm trying to steer clear of Miley Cyrus, she gets enough hype already, but we'll see how that one turns out.
