"It's... ALIVE!!!!!"

And I'm glad to say that even though my vacation wasn't exactly what you'd call restful, I had a good time. This week has been pretty eventful, but I'll stick with what I said in my first post; I'm not saying anything about me, my life, my friends, etc., just books, movies, music, and occasionally whatever happens to strike my fancy.

I saw Push the other day, it reminded me vaguely of X-Men, but without Professor Xavier.
It's about a bunch of mutants, some on the scientist (Division) side and some on the just-wants-to-live-life-without-being-killed-by-Division side. They come in multiple varieties, you have your Watchers, Pushers, Shadowers, Bleeders, Sniffs, Stitches, Wipers, Shifters, and Movers. Each has their own power that has something to do with their name (I'll leave you to figure those out) and the most powerful ones are Pushers. Everyone wants this case that was lost, but they all have to rely on their watchers to find it. Some watchers even have to rely on enemy watchers.

Basically this Mover is heading home after losing a bet when some Division Sniffs come up to his door and ask to be let in. They then sniff everything and find that there haven't been any girls in his apartment in awhile, and a specific girl hasn't come yet. Then they leave, bringing a toothbrush with them for evidence.

A minute later, a Watcher knocks on the Mover's door and he lets her in. She gives him a toothbrush and searches his fridge for the chicken. Naturally, having a random stranger looking for leftover chicken after handing you a toothbrush is a bit odd, so he asked her to leave. Then she told him that if he stuck with her there'd be 6 million dollars in it for the both of them and he can pay off his debt. At which point he knew she was a Watcher.

Well? Is there really 6 mil out there for the taking? Is this Watcher the girl the Sniffs were looking for? What the heck is going on? I'll leave you to figure those out.

I know that summary kinda stunk... but I'm tired and I didn't have a whole lot to go by since my memory left me about an hour ago. Just 'cause my skills are slightly impaired at the moment doesn't mean it wasn't a pretty cool movie. So check it out! Lemme know what you think. Any favorite powers? Personally I think the Shifters are pretty cool, right next to Pushers.
